They're out....

So most of the invites have been sent and we received already a lot of confirmations. I guess a waiting list would be obsolete given the "high interest" :-)
Anyway, we're looking forward to having you all at one of the events we will organise to celebrate our big day.
Now I want to see lots of comments, ideas about music or any commentary that you want to give. Should you want us to add any other items to the website or have very specific questions, just send us a short e-mail.

Here we go

Finally our invitations are ready, so we will do our best to hand them out personally, at least to those of you that we can meet over the coming weeks. Some of your will, unfortunately, receive the invite via post, but don't think that that makes you least favourite on our guest list.
Ah, I have to express a BIG compliment to Annalisa for the invites...I gave her a hard time, but I think the end result is pretty good. Also, a HUGE thank you to Gerty who helped to bind the invites, then obviously my mother who also spend (and will spend) a lot of time putting these together....and not to forget Fritz (my sister) whose wonderful handwriting we borrowed and which you can see on the invites.

So what I'm looking for is now that you all confirm your attendance and then we can finalise the seating plan.

New flight to Bergamo from Luxembourg

For all those from Luxemburg (and obviously all you Italians you plan to visit my wonderful country sooner or later), as of 17 February 2007 MyAir is offering flights to Milano Bergamo three times a week from Metz Airport. This one is for most closer than Hahn or Charleroi. Check it out on www.myair.com.

(arne)

The invites are almost ready

Our trusty helpers in Luxembourg (Marie-Anne, Gerty & Francoise) are very busy getting the invites ready. What would we do without them. Everything is printed, now the names have to be written and then everything put together in an envelope. We hop you will like it. Annalisa broke my balls a lot about these invites, so I'll be relieved when they are finally all out.

Some pain inbetween

Yesterday I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed. Full sedation and today I stay at home and suffer. It's not as bad as I thought but I have to restrict my food list for some time. Soup, mash or anything liquid is ok. Steaks...hm...have to wait a few days. But, it gave me some time to update the website and add a few little enhancements. Mike

Met the priest

So I finally managed to go and meet the priest in London as well and he filled out all the necessary forms and it should be alright now. We just need to swear in front of a solicitor that we have never been married before (shhh those who know more....) etc.
It felt a bit weird when he asked whether I fully commit to my future wife, not get divorced etc.....there goes my freedom:-)))...just kidding.
Another small step forward.

But my weekend was great

Have a look in the Mobile Blog, I sent a number of pictures from the Skiing trip...I'm sure you can see that we had a lot of fun and great weather. Now back to our tasks of finalising the organisation for the wedding. Somehow I need to get in touch with our priest here in London in order to get the right documents that I need to sent to Italy. I never imagined that it was that difficult to get married. All the multi-cultural couples who follow us....be aware!!!
