Also, soot eis Bescheed op der kenne kommt! Et get eng ganz relax Saach, an wei gesoot, ditt Iech relax un, mee ech geif awer en decke Plover matbrengen, et wees een jo ni waat d'Wieder matbrengt.

Getting closer...but not sweating yet

The clock is ticking.....but I'm not nervous....yet.
Another few things ticked of the list. Annalisa (again I was to lazy) managed to organise some music in the church, so the guy who plays the organ confirmed and we're...eh... she might find also somebody who sings. The order of service will be checked with the priest this weekend and then should go to print as well.
Also the final OK for the menu will be given on Saturday and we need to finalise the last logistical questions with the catering. I'll probably have the last changes on my suit done as well (unless there is a serious change of shape in my body) happening in the next few weeks :-)
Annalisa will also make some more changes to her dress and go for some more make-up trials. (Shall I have make-up to???)

Finally, my birthday this weekend, so time to practice drinking :-))

A short break....for me

Celebrating St. Patrick's day in Dublin is what you have to do. Although it ended up much quieter than I expected and without a massive hangover the next day, I really enjoyed it. Go to the mobile blob (http://rudilux.blogspot.com) to see some pics from the evening.

My (well deserved) break was a lot of fun and a small reminder of what I cannot do anymore after May.....sniff....

Who's the Daddy???

Up a request from Ruschky, I had to publish this picture here. It is basically the result of a survey in Europe where they asked people whether they had had alcohol in the last 30 days. I guess the high averages already are scary, but look who came out as No. 1!!!!

So according to Ruschky all the Italians at the wedding should know who they face and should think twice if they want to engage in a drinking contest :-)

I think we will have a lot of fun given that Italy came in at No. 2 !!!

It is to big....or too small

We went and checked the way to the Cascina over the weekend and discovered (although some people said "I TOLD YOU SO/ TE L'HO DETTO") that the entrance from the main road to the small way that leads to the Cascina is too narrow for the bus. Now we have to find a new solution. I guess you can plan already to bring your running shoes, because it will be a long walk :-)
Don't worry, we'll sort something out.

I got it!!!!

Today I decided which suit I will wear. After a long shopping trip on Saturday with Annalisa's father I found two I really liked, but given that I cannot change during the ceremony, I had to decide for one. I will not reveal how it looks....this will be a surprise for you as will be her dress for me (I still pray it's not pink..). So that's one more item ticked off the list, now I just need to stay on a diet in order to look good in it :-). Mike
