The STAG!!!

I am sure lots of you have been waiting for some comments from our stag weekend, resp. Hen night. Well, I let Annalisa comment on hers and I'll give you a brief run-down of what happened on mine. Forgive me if I leave out a few details....it's only for the best.
I expected to have to play lots of drinking games and to end up completely drunk after a very short time. In reality I was forced to drink a lot of still water and had to help myself to some beer because nobody was offering anything to me. Before drinking all that water, I was asked to take a seat on a chair and some people manage to get hold of some plaster (gips) and bandages and so I ended up with my left leg plastered in an almost 45 degree angle, my right food up to the knee and my left hand was plastered to a serving tray. Ah, before they did all this, I had to get rid of my trousers and had to put on a nappy, in which, subsequently, some people kept pouring some very interesting ingredients....some wet, some sticky, some dusty...
The nappies were then, obviously, sealed and taped to my legs so that I could not take them off anymore....the whole evening. You can now imagine what effect the water had on me later :-)
All this done, I was then asked...eh...ordered to serve all my friend for the rest of the evening. So, unable to walk straight (still sober!!!), I made my way from the grill to the bar and back, trying to get all the thirsty guests satisfied.
I think most of my friends ended the evening actually more drunk than me....but that's not a bad thing.
Ah yes...there was one other small incident very late in the evening, but you have to call me to know what happened there.

As there were a lot of bachelors involved in getting me ready for the evening....I am really looking forward to their stag night.....uh....I got already some very good ideas :-))

Thanks a lot guys, I really had a lot of fun and appreciate all the effort.

Strange...almost all done

We asked ourselves already what we will do once this is all over. I think Annalisa will be bored (as I apparently didn't do anything anyway) and we need to find a new occupation for her. She actually did a fantastic job, so if one of you want her to organise your wedding....give her a call (but please don't tell her I said this)!!
The first event is coming up and that his the stag do and hen night this weekend. Unfortunately there is a rule, NO PICTURES, but I'll try to give you a run-down after the event....that is if I'll still be able to write.
Then we actually will spend a weekend in London rather than jetting around and get some rest before we fly to Luxembourg for the next event.

I hope everybody is as excited as I am and I look forward to seeing you all at one of the locations.

And they loved it....or not???

Last weekend, all of us (Annalisa & myself, her parents AND my parents) celebrated Easter in the lovely Luxembourg. We obviously had LOTS of Food and I got the feeling Lucien tried to take revenge for the good cooking of Annalisa's mother. Don't know whether he wanted to prove something :-) ???
Anyway, we had a nice weekend and showed Annalisa's parents around the country. Not that some of them we remotely interested in the nice countryside (as you can see from the pictures) but I tried to make the effort to market "Letzebuerg" well.
We also discussed/argued about some final issues and the last boxes are being ticked.
We hope that everybody is looking forward to all this partying...I am surely.
Now we only need some more feedback from our guests and final suggestions/ideas if we missed anything. Come on you sleepers!!!

Time is running out...only 44 days to go

Wow, we're getting real close now. Last weekend we were in Milan again to sort out some more things. We had a meeting with the Priest!!! Each of us individually questioned for 10 minutes. The programme for the Church is almost finalised, just need to get the music sorted....the priest did not like my suggestion of "Oh Happy Days"....:-((
Annalisa went for (another) make/hair session and fixed the last strings on her dress. Now they only have to bleach it to get rid of that hideous pink colour :-)
I went to do the last measures for my suit, now I have to keep my weight, otherwise the gillet will burst...he...he.
Food and drinks are also ok now....go on a diet now, otherwise you will suffer!!
The last few people will hopefully confirm soon and then we can sort out the seating plan.
The prayers are also distributed...really sad that Steve does not want to do one....:-))) I'm sure he will make it up in the speech...
